Computers & Study Spaces

Computer Lab

The Library has 30 computers for student use. The computer lab is available for your use if you are a currently registered student. The lab is equipped with PC compatible/Windows computers.

Public Use Computers

The Library also provides three computers for public access. You must check-in at the Circulation desk before use. No ID is required. These computers are provided to the public with the expectation that users have a basic understanding of both computer software and the internet.  The public access computers are stationed in the Commons area, a community space where conversation and interaction are encouraged.

Wireless

The entire campus, including the library, is now equipped to provide wireless access to all students. If you have problems accessing wireless service, please ask the library staff for assistance.

Study Rooms

Chart Room

The Chart Room is located on the upper floor, westhand corner of the library and is available for campus use. Check in at the front circulation counter to reserve this room for a study group or discoursive purposes. The Chart Room is available to reserve up to one week in advance and for a maximum of three hours at a time.

 Desdemona Room

The Desdemona Room is located on the main floor, easthand corner of the library and is available for campus use. Check in at the front circulation counter to reserve this room for a study group or discoursive purposes. The Desdemona Room is available to reserve up to one week in advance and for maximum of three hours at a time.

 The Portway

The Portway is located on the main floor, westhand corner of the library. Check in at the front circulation counter to reserve this room for a study group or discoursive purposes. The Desdemona Room is available to reserve up to one week in advance and for maximum of three hours at a time.

Media Room

Media equipment such as video-cassette players, dvd players, televisions, and headphones are available for student use. The media room is set up expressly as a space for viewing class materials and library permanent reserve media items. This room is available and open for use any time the library is open. Check in at the front circulation counter.
